The Big Breakfast - November 29th

The Big Breakfast was held on Sunday November 29th at the Blake Hall in South Petherton. From 9 o'clock, residents of South Petherton were treated to a cooked breakfast prepared by Jane and Crispin from New Farm Restaurant in Over Stratton assisted by cubs, scouts, parents and leaders.

About 150 breakfasts were served and eaten in an atmosphere of community and fun. Residents turned out to help raise around £700 in aid of the appeal. Some had brought their friends and relations, others sat quietly reading the Sunday papers. The raffle contributed well to the fund raising and diners were able to donate directly to the appeal or to Buy a Brick.
